Flexible film and foil packaging is one of the highest-volume coding applications in food manufacturing. TTO is the established high-resolution technology on HFFS and VFFS lines, with CIJ complementing it on high-speed continuous lines. The industry is transitioning from date-only printing toward full traceability codes supporting GS1 and supply-chain management. That raises barcode/2D quality demands — which the physical behavior of film makes hard to hold.
